ABOUT THIS ARTIST
Ian Mutch is a young emerging artist from Dunsborough, WA, creating unique artworks from a mix of acrylic, spraypaint and quirky ink illustrations.
Mutch's art hold beauty on two levels - it can be enjoyed from a distance, while entertaining the viewer close up. Wild brushstrokes and layered tones are detailed with raw ink illustrations that portray a combination of dreamy characters, animals, objects, humour, shapes and patterns.
Recent exhibitions 2006-2010: Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Bangkok.
Also working as a designer and illustrator, Mutch co-produces a limited edition arts publication - Kingbrown magazine. He enjoys travel, music, surf, snow and skate.
Ian Mutch has joined hands with many design industry professionals as a speaker at Agideas, DIA and Semi Permanent.
